Volunteer Vacancy vs. Jules

Well, it's happened. I was told at Head Teacher training to be prepared for a volunteer to go home--either due to medical emergency, homesickness, a death in the family, etc. When a volunteer goes home, I have to take over their spot until a new volunteer arrives. No easy task, I assure you. As the Head Teacher I'm already balancing a training schedule, financial reports, lesson plans, preparing for mid-semester visits from the ILP directors, meeting and working with the students and their parents, and managing the welfare and happiness of all of my teachers.

Emily will be leaving this week or next week due to a family emergency. Right now we're just waiting for a name misspelling to be fixed on her visa, once that's taken care of she'll be on a plane back home.

So, my dear family and friends, I need your help! We need a replacement for Emily's spot right away. If you or anyone you can think of would be interested in an adventurous three months in Russia, and could leave ASAP, please let me know! Cost to the volunteer would only be for airfare and visa, which at this point is about $1000 (pretty good for three months in Russia, all housing and food provided for . . . plus the volunteer would receive a free metro pass and cell phone, and my apartment has free wi-fi). Program information is detailed at http://ilp.org.

I've already contacted a few friends I was sure could come out, but unfortunately that fell through.

I don't know how to convey this message strong enough . . . HELP!!
